Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Glycina (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase from glycina.com (the “Site”) or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
1. Personal information we collect
- Contact & order details: name, email, phone, shipping/billing address, and order history.
- Payment information: processed securely by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Account & communications: info you provide when you contact support or subscribe to emails/SMS.
- Usage & device data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, and similar data collected via cookies and analytics.
2. Where we collect it from
Directly from you; automatically through cookies and tracking technologies as you use the Site; and from service providers such as our e-commerce platform, payment processors, and analytics/advertising partners.
3. How we use your information
To provide the Services — process and ship orders, manage subscriptions, take payment, provide customer support, send order and (with consent) marketing communications, personalize and improve the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How we disclose your information
We share personal information with service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, email/SMS and analytics/advertising providers), and as required by law or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing for targeted advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state laws — you can opt out (see Your Rights).
5. Our platform (Shopify)
The Site is hosted on Shopify, which provides the online store and may process personal information to operate the Services. See Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy for details on its processing.
6. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.
7. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your cart, measure performance, and support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals (e.g., Global Privacy Control) where required.
8. Children’s data
The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction.
9. Security & retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
10. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of marketing or of targeted advertising / “sale”/“sharing.” EU/UK/EEA residents may also object to or restrict processing and withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email support@glycina.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email, and from SMS by replying STOP.
11. International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.
12. Complaints
If you have a complaint, contact us first at support@glycina.com. If you’re in the EEA/UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
