Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what personal information Glycina collects when you visit or buy from glycina.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. The Site is operated by Luvid LLC, 1001 S Main St, Kalispell, MT 59901, United States, which is the controller of that information.

1. What we collect

  • Order and contact details — your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and what you bought. A phone number only if you choose to give one for delivery.
  • Payment details — handled by our payment processors. Full card numbers never reach our systems and we cannot see them.
  • Support messages — whatever you write to us, plus any photo you attach to a claim.
  • Marketing preferences — whether you opted in to email or SMS, and whether you have unsubscribed.
  • Site and device data — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and similar information gathered through cookies and analytics.

2. Where it comes from

Directly from you when you order, sign up, or write to us; automatically as you browse, through cookies and similar technologies; and from the service providers we use to run the store, take payment, ship parcels, and measure advertising.

3. Why we use it

To take and ship your order, take payment, send order and delivery updates, answer your support messages, honour the 90-day guarantee, send marketing messages if you asked for them, keep the store working and improve it, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information with the providers that make the store function — our e-commerce platform, payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, email and SMS platforms, review platforms, and analytics and advertising providers — and only so they can perform those services for us. We also disclose information where the law requires it, and to a buyer or successor if the business is transferred.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may count as a “sale” or as “sharing for targeted advertising” under certain U.S. state privacy laws; you can opt out at any time (see section 8).

5. The platform we run on

The store is hosted on Shopify, which processes personal information in order to provide the store, the checkout, and related services. Shopify’s own consumer privacy policy explains its processing.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart, remember preferences, measure how the store performs, and support advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the store may stop working properly if you do. Where required, we honour recognised opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

7. Keeping it, and keeping it safe

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no website or transmission method is perfectly secure. We keep order records for as long as we need them to run the business and to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal requirements, and we keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, and opt out of marketing or of targeted advertising, “sale”, or “sharing”. Residents of the EU, EEA, and UK may also object to or restrict processing and withdraw consent.

To exercise any of these, email support@glycina.com from the address on your order and tell us what you want done. We will not treat you differently for asking. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, and from SMS by replying STOP.

9. Children

The store is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority where they live. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

We are based in the United States and information is processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for cross-border transfers.

11. Complaints

Come to us first at support@glycina.com — we would rather fix it directly. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are posted here with a new “last updated” date.

13. Contact

Privacy questions and rights requests go to the same place as everything else — we do not run a separate privacy desk or a phone line.
